Thanks for posting this, I live in Rome, have done my fair share of eating out but still have much to do and I am always up for good advice.
I can vouch for Felice in via Mastro Giorgio, I live a few doors down in the same street and have enjoyed many many many wonderful meals there. The food has always been excellent, Roman classics but with a light and fresh touch which is a relief in a city where Trattoria food can be lazy and heavy at times. Felice is almost next to one of the nicest markets in Rome and you can see crates of prime, carefully chosen produce being wheeled through the door each morning. The wine list is a delight, interesting, well priced and thoughtful.
The pasta alla Felice is very very good.
